Okay.... this entry im going to talk about my trip to Monsopiad Cultural Village (yg berminggu2 sdh xpost) opppss... btw.. hello readers. sorry for the late, cos i have no time bah to post this.

first, i would like to say that the trip is really fun and awesome... yeah lots of activities that we doing there... and that day we are lucky cos got a documentary shooting there... and they shoot about the Kadzan Wedding Ceremony.

yeah this is the bride.. being blessed by the bobohizan.

before that fot those who are wondering and wanna know about Monsopiad Cultural Village.. here the article that i grabbed from Monsopiad.com

Monsopiad Cultural Village, the traditional village is a historical site in the heartland of the Kadazandusun people and it is the only cultural village in Sabah built to commemorates the life and time of the legendary Kadazan and head-hunter warrior: Monsopiad. The direct descendants of Monsopiad, his 6th and 7th generations have built the village on the very land where Monsopiad lived and roamed some three centuries ago to remember their forefather, and to give you an extraordinary insight into their ancient and rich culture.

Take a step back into the past, to the days of head hunting and spirit worship, to the days when the Bobohizan, the female high priestess of the Kadazan, ruled the villages and took care of healthand spiritual well-being of their people.

More than being a museum, the concept of the Monsopiad Cultural Village is to document, revive and keep alive the culture and traditions, as well as the believes of the Kadazan people.

Monsopiad Cultural Village is privately owned and managed by his direct descendants.

Your visit at Monsopiad Cultural Village contribute directly to the conservation of one of Malaysia's rich cultural heritages and traditions.

ok enough for the introduction, we continue our journey through my pics.. heheeh...

this is the ceremony where the bride woman and men eat together with their family.

you see the Lihing (bottle) ? that was the Sabah Wine, is was made from rice.. the sweetest u get the more u easily to drunk... yeah... aramaiiittiii... hehehe...

that was Kirai the women holds, it was the traditional cigarettes made from i-dun-know-what-the-leaf-name-are hahaha...

started by the well famous traditional dance, Sumazau from the Kadazan ethnic

followed by the Limbai dance from the Bajau Semporna

and after that the audience are being shocked by the appearance of the Murut Head Hunters (if u all wanna know what happened next? wait for my next entry.. i will post the videos...)
